HubSpot Publishes our Inbound Marketing Traffic Calculator

A few months ago Greg Elwell, CEO of Zephyr Marketing LLC and HubSpot Partner B2B Inbound, developed and published the Inbound Marketing Traffic Calculator. It was inspired by the Pete Caputa post, Calculating How Much Website Traffic You Need to Hit Your Monthly Revenue Goals.

All of this fueled some further interest in objective-driven logic. That is, businesses and inbound marketers taking steps to focus their efforts on developing action plans based first on revenue goals. Then, based on key metrics, determing how much monthly traffic you need to drive inorder to achieve your leads, conversions, customers and finally, your new monthly revenue goal.

This methodology also sparked further interest in presenting and teaching inbound marketing in a bottom's up manner. But wheels of invention and improvement didn't stop there.

HubSpot's VAR program, sales and marketing manager, Pete Caputa just couldn't leave well enough alone. He took our inbound marketing traffic calculator and made it better. Then he sent out an email blast to thousands of marketing companies to tell them about it with a link to learn more and download the revised Inbound Marketing Traffic Calculator. Smart guy.

The revised calculator is a bit more robust. It includes calculations for both current and future inbound marketing: lead-to-customer and visitor-to-lead conversion goals. With this enhancement business owners and marketers can focus on and measure the marketing efficiencies and effectiveness of inbound vs. how current strategies and campaigns are performing.
