Greg Elwell

Greg ElwellHi, I'm Greg Elwell. I started in the web site and Internet marketing business in 2005 following a 15+ year career in the wireless industry. I launched Zephyr Marketing LLC originally to focus on developing web sites for small- to medium-sized, local businesses. I then became aware that it wasn't enough to just build websites. I needed to find ways for potential customers to find them, too.

And so began my discovery of Internet marketing in 2006 as a WSI (We Simplify the Internet) franchise owner. Between 2006 and 2009 I became certified as an Internet Marketing Consultant, Research Analyst and Advanced Search Engine Marketing Specialist.

Then, craving more knowledge and practical tools, I became a Certified Inbound Marketing Professional through HubSpot, and a Certified HubSpot Partner in April of 2010 when B2B Inbound was also launched.

Prior to my entrance in the Internet marketing field I held a variety of senior management roles in customer service, product management, advanced services, and sales and marketing for companies such as McCaw Cellular Communications (Cellular One), AT&T Wireless and Nextel-Sprint. My last position was with Nextel Communications just prior to the Sprint-Nextel merger where I served as the western region director of business marketing based out of Walnut Creek, California.

I'm hooked on the intersection of technology and artistry with some addictions to sports andGreg Elwell alongside the statute of Kirby Puckett outside Target Field in Minneapolis storytelling mixed in. Building a 25" Heathkit (remember those?) color TV helped cement a passion for technology. Writing poetry, acting and majoring in speech and theater arts followed by a degree in bible and theology formed my love for creativity and humanity.

Even without Kirby Puckett and the '87 and '91 World Series Champion Minnesota Twins I was pretty much (and am) bonkers for baseball. My wife and I love to RV in our spare time and between us have 6 kids and 17 Grandchildren! And so because of all this and much more, I'm blessed with many great experiences, people and stories to tell.

I'd love to hear about you and help tell your story.
